The Predator Z57 is a gaming monitor, it’s a 57-inch display with a curvature designed to enhance your field of vision, creating a more immersive gaming environment.

The massive monitor has a Dual UHD resolution of 7,680 x 2,160 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a wide 32:9 aspect ratio.

What sets it apart is the MiniLED technology, enabling it to achieve up to 1,000-nit brightness, ensuring accurate colors and excellent contrast for realistic visuals, especially in dark scenes.

One feature of the Predator Z57 is its picture-by-picture capability, allowing users to split the massive display in half and show output from two different sources simultaneously.

With two HDMI 2.1 ports compatible with consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, gamers can explore the option of running two games at the same time. The picture-in-picture capability enables users to display a secondary output in a smaller inset window.

Acer has ensured that the Predator Z57 caters to the needs of gamers. Equipped with two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, and a USB-C 3.2 hub with four downstream USB ports, the monitor offers various connectivity options.

The USB Type-C port supports 90W Power Delivery, providing users with a charging solution. The inclusion of AMD FreeSync Premium reduces screen tearing and enhances the overall gaming experience.

For gaming enthusiasts eager to get their hands on the Predator Z57, the wait won’t be too long. Acer plans to release this gaming behemoth in the second quarter of the year, with prices starting at $2,500 in North America and €2,399 in Europe.

If the Predator Z57’s massive screen real estate and premium price tag are a bit too much, Acer has introduced the Predator X34 V3 as a more budget-friendly alternative.

This 34-inch MiniLED model features a 21:9 ultrawide QHD resolution of 3,440 x 1,440, a 180Hz refresh rate, and a 1500R curvature.

It promises gaming experiences with minimal ghosting, making it an attractive option for gamers who prioritize performance without breaking the bank. The Predator X34 V3 will also be available in the second quarter of the year.

Acer seems to be taking another shot at making 3D gaming a reality with the Predator SpatialLabs View 27. This entry into the brand’s stereoscopic 3D display line doesn’t require glasses, providing users with a glasses-free 3D experience.

The 4K screen can switch between 3D and 2D output, offering flexibility based on user preferences. The Predator SpatialLabs View 27 will hit the North American market in the second quarter with a price tag of $1,999, while European customers can expect it in the first quarter.

The Predator Z57 invites comparisons with the 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 that Samsung introduced a year ago. Both monitors feature a 57-inch display, but there are differences. While the Z57 offers a 120Hz refresh rate, the Odyssey Neo G9 has a faster 240Hz refresh rate.

The G9 provides more dimming zones (2,392) compared to Acer’s listed 2,304 dimming zones. Price-conscious consumers may also find the G9 appealing, especially if it continues to sell at a lower price point.

The company unveiled the Predator X39 and the Predator X34 X, both featuring OLED displays. These monitors offer a 39-inch and 34-inch display respectively, with a 240Hz refresh rate, 0.01ms pixel response time, and support for AMD FreeSync Premium.
