The victim, a worker in his 40s from a robotics company, was conducting an inspection of the robot’s sensor operations when the malfunction occurred.

The robotic arm, responsible for lifting boxes of bell peppers and placing them on pallets, mistakenly identified the man as one of the boxes, leading to a fatal outcome.

According to reports from the Yonhap news agency, the robotic arm pushed the man’s upper body against the conveyor belt, resulting in severe injuries to his face and chest. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the man had his injuries, marking a loss.
