Nubia has unveiled the REDMAGIC 9S Pro and 9S Pro+. Gaming Smartphones specifically designed for gamers with advanced technology.

The Redmagic 9S Pro and 9S Pro+ are with an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version chipset.
This version features a prime CPU core clocked at 3.4GHz and a GPU boosted to 1GHz. The devices support up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The Redmagic 9S Pro has an AnTuTu score of 2,369,542 points, the highest among Android smartphones to date.
The new ICE 13.5 cooling system includes a large vapor chamber measuring 10,182mm² and utilizes a novel cooling gel that reduces thermal resistance.
The system features a 22,000 RPM active cooling fan which reduces the chipset temperature by up to 19.5°C, compared to the 18°C reduction achieved by the previous ICE 13 system.
The Red Magic 9S Pro comes with a 6,500mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging capable of a full charge in 35 minutes.
The Redmagic 9S Pro+, on the other hand includes a 5,500mAh battery with 165W fast charging which can fully charge the device in just 16 minutes.
The phones support 5G NSA/SA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS (L1/L5), GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC for connectivity across various networks and devices.
Both models offer a feature that allows users to run the phone directly off external power reducing heat generation and long battery life.
The REDMAGIC 9S Pro series features a 6.8-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2480 x 1116 pixels.
The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of up to 960Hz. It also has10-bit color depth, a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and up to 1600 nits of peak brightness.
The screen operates at a 120Hz refresh rate and supports an instant touch sampling rate of up to 2,000Hz.
The devices feature 520Hz shoulder triggers with an updated backlight design allowing for customizable in-game controls.
The Redmagic 9S Pro series supports Wi-Fi 7 and USB-C 3.2 for fast data transfer and stable internet connectivity.
Users can choose between using the dual stereo speakers, which have DTS. Ultra certification or connecting wired headphones via the 3.5mm jack.
The devices come with a 3.5mm audio jack, dual 1115K speakers with DTS. ULTRA technology and three microphones for excellent audio capture and playback.
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor (1/1.57” GN5) with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 50MP ultra-wide lens (JN1).
The under-display 16MP front camera provides a full-screen display, ideal for gamers who prefer an unobstructed view.

The Red Magic 9.5 OS, based on Android 14, introduces several AI-driven features aimed at improving the gaming experience.
These include Smart Navigator, AI Trigger and Sound Recognition, which has real-time game recommendations, customizable actions and in-game sound identification.
The OS includes REDMAGIC Moments which facilitates the capture and editing of screenshots and video clips and the creation of custom wallpapers from games.
The AI Assistant now supports voice-activated functions and dynamic, game-themed displays. The REDMAGIC Cube provides various AI tools for photo editing, wallpaper creation and more.
The Redmagic 9S Pro comes with 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. The Redmagic 9S Pro+ offers 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
A special edition of the Redmagic 9S Pro+ is available featuring 24GB of RAM and a 16TB of storage priced at CNY 7,000.
The devices come in two colorways, Dark Knight and White Knight. There are transparent versions, Silver Deuterium and Dark Knight which are slightly more expensive.
The Redmagic 9S Pro and 9S Pro+ will be available in China starting July 9. The base model (12GB/256GB) of the 9S Pro is priced at CNY 4,800 (approximately $660/€610/₹55,000) with various pricing tiers for different configurations.
Running on Android 14 with the customized REDMAGIC OS 9.5, the phones has a variety of AI features including AI Photo, AI Image Enlargement, AI Wallpapers and more.
The integrated AI features also include an AI Writing Assistant and Smart AI content recommendations which provide users with tools to improve their productivity and content creation.
Weighing 229 grams and with dimensions of 163.98×76.35×8.9mm, the phones are designed to be comfortable to hold during long gaming sessions while maintaining a premium feel.
