The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 features the all-new LT7 engine, a twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V8 that delivers an incredible 1,064 horsepower.

The LT7 engine uses a flat-plane crankshaft similar to the Z06’s LT6 engine, but with enhancements. This design allows for quicker and higher revving, achieving a redline of 8,000 rpm.

The twin turbos are engineered with speed sensors and made from a nickel-based alloy called Mar, allowing them to handle temperatures as high as 1,900 degrees Fahrenheit.

This setup provides a massive torque peak of 828 lb-ft at 6,000 rpm and the 1,064-hp max hits at 7,000 rpm.

Chevrolet introduced unique internals including new cams, cylinder heads and cooling measures. This ensures that the engine performs optimally at high speeds.

The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 can reach speeds over 215 mph and complete a quarter-mile in under 10 seconds.

The LT7 engine delivers more than 800 lb-ft of torque between 3,000 to 6,500 rpm.

Added block and head machining support the intense demands of turbo cooling and lubrication. A secondary port fuel injection system has been incorporated to provide the additional fuel required for the LT7’s massive output.

Gear Capacity has increased strength through shot peening for all gears. Improved oil management to support enhanced vehicle dynamics. Increased control valves to handle higher clutch clamp loads required by the LT7.

While the engine is placed mid-vehicle, giving it a supercar layout, the ZR1 retains a muscle car’s raw power and presence.

The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1’s exterior is designed for both aesthetics and aerodynamics featuring sharp lines and a dynamic stance that addresses its speed and power.

This package includes a massive rear wing, front dive planes and other enhancements that provide over 1,200 pounds of downforce at top speed.

To manage the heat from its powerful engine, the ZR1 sacrifices its frunk (front trunk) space for additional cooling capacity.

A vertical wicker on the hood creates a low-pressure zone to draw air through the front heat exchangers effectively.

Split Rear Window, paying homage to the classic Corvette design, the new ZR1 features a split rear window.

The car includes new rear glass and strategically placed ducts that channel air to cool the engine and brakes efficiently.

Carbon Fiber Roof reduces mass and lowers the center of gravity available for both coupe and convertible models. Unique wheel design with four finish options including Edge Blue, paying homage to ZR1’s signature color.

Exclusive to the 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, these wheels reduce unsprung mass by 42.8 pounds. The LT7 engine intake is finished in Edge Blue.

Found on an interior plaque, sill plates and steering wheel. Specific to the ZR1, available on the 3LZ trim. The first factory turbocharged Corvette to include a boost gauge.

Offers options like the Habanero interior and Blue Stitch with various racing stripes, brake caliper colors and seat belt choices.

The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1’s chassis has been tuned for both track performance and road comfort. It features a stiffer suspension setup that enhances cornering capabilities and stability at high speeds.

To handle the power and torque, the ZR1 comes equipped with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission featuring thicker gears for durability.

The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S ZP tires with the option for Pilot Sport Cup 2 R ZP for more aggressive performance. The tire construction has been optimized for better traction and handling.

For weight reduction and improved handling, the ZR1 offers carbon fiber wheels and carbon-ceramic brakes, shaving off 40 pounds from its weight.

The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 features standard magnetorheological dampers that adjust the suspension stiffness based on driving conditions.

The base model offers lower spring rates for a more compliant ride while the ZTK package stiffens the suspension for track-focused performance.

The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 features a purpose-built carbon fiber aero package generating over 1,200 pounds of downforce at top speeds.

A sleek body with a lower drag coefficient complemented by a carbon-fiber front splitter, rocker moldings and side intake with integrated brake cooling.

The standard chassis features Magnetic Ride dampers that balance road comfort with track capability.

Equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires on 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels for superior grip and performance.

Enhances aerodynamics by allowing air to enter the front grille, pass through the intercooler heat exchanger and exit the hood increasing downforce and cooling efficiency.

Carbon fiber side profile air ducts are integrated behind the cabin doors to channel cool air to the rear brakes without compromising wheel travel.

The package includes an aggressive high-downforce rear wing, front dive planes and underbody strakes for increased downforce.

Features stiffer springs and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires transforming the ZR1 into a track weapon.

All aerodynamic components from the ZTK package are available as an option on the standard ZR1 chassis.

The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is equipped with the largest carbon ceramic rotors ever fitted on a Corvette measuring 15.7 inches (400 mm) at the front and 15.4 inches (390 mm) at the rear.

The advanced rotor manufacturing technology ensures increased durability and reduced component temperatures.

The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 achieves a 22% quicker braking performance than the previous C7 ZR1 and 53% quicker than the C6 ZR1, going from 80-200 mph and back to 80 mph in just 24.5 seconds.

On its first lap, the ZR1 recorded a faster peak speed than the production C7 ZR1. Achieved a sub-10-second quarter-mile time on its first launch.

All test drivers exceeded 200 mph peak speed on their initial laps at the Nürburgring. The LT7 produces more power than two LS7 engines.

The 2025 Corvette lineup introduces new colors like Competition Yellow, Hysteria Purple and Sebring Orange, the latter a nod to the previous C7 ZR1.

The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 was benchmarked against top competitors like the Porsche 911 GT2 RS and Ferrari SF90 aiming to surpass them in terms of performance and versatility.

With a dry weight of 3,670 pounds for the coupe, the ZR1 has a better power-to-weight ratio than many of its competitors including the Bugatti Veyron.

The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is expected to be priced lower than European supercars. The estimated starting price is around $150,000.
