Exterior

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade features updated styling across all six trims including the Escalade-V. Drawing inspiration from Cadillac’s EV models, the new Escalade includes an crest and on select trims, an illuminated grille surround.

A shift from horizontal to vertical front lighting and smaller taillamp clusters at the rear. For the first time, the Escalade has 24 inch wheels as a stock option alongside the existing 22 inch wheels.

The Escalade-V sports a unique front fascia with carbon fiber accents and quad tailpipes. Three new exterior colors have been introduced with two shades of blue and a pale bronze.

Interior

The interior upgrade is the 55-inch screen that spans the dashboard standard across all trims. This setup includes a 35-inch display for the driver and a 20-inch display for the passenger, housed under a single sheet of glass.

The optional Executive Second Row package introduces 12.6-inch touchscreens for second-row passenger. The standard AKG Studio audio system includes 19 speakers with an optional AKG Studio Reference package increasing the count to 36 speakers.

With the Executive package, the total number of speakers can reach 40. New steering wheel spoke design. 126-color ambient lighting available in two distinct zones. Two new interior palette options, Renaissance Red and Jet Black with Sheer Gray.

An additional 11-inch screen in the center console handles climate control, app input and quick vehicle controls.

The passenger display is polarized to prevent driver distraction and provides an great experience. Cadillac has kept a multifunction controller and a physical volume control for convenience.

The updated steering wheel features metal accents and capacitive haptic buttons enhancing the driving experience. The display supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Performance

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade continues to give the 6.2-liter V8 engine with 420 horsepower. The Escalade-V model features a supercharged version of this engine with 682 horsepower.

The Escalade-V continues with its supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine with 682 horsepower and 683 pound-feet of torque.

The V variant features a front fascia and larger lower grille for improved cooling. The Escalade-V includes carbon fiber accents and Jet Black leather for a premium feel.

Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 and Air Ride Adaptive Suspension are standard on higher trims including Premium Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury Platinum, Sport Platinum and V-Series.

GM’s hands-free driver assistance system, Super Cruise is now standard. It includes speed and lane-keeping functions on pre-mapped highways and automatic lane-change capabilities. The SUV also features automatic perpendicular and parallel parking.

Advanced Technologies

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with Amazon Alexa voice control.

A front wireless charger is standard with USB ports for all three rows and an HDMI input for the front passenger.

Twin-zone 126-color ambient LED lighting adds to the cabin’s atmosphere. The standard audio setup includes a 19-speaker AKG Studio system with a 36-speaker Reference version available.

This optional package upgrades the second-row seating to include storable tray tables, dual wireless phone charging pads, massage functionality, headrest speakers and 12.6-inch personal screens.

A heads-up display projects above the main 55-inch screen providing information without distraction. A secondary tablet-like screen sits below the main display.

The audio system in this configuration boasts 40 speakers.

Door Features

For the first time the 2025 Cadillac Escalade provides power-operated doors which can be opened and closed via the door handle or the central touchscreen.

The driver’s door can open automatically when the key fob approaches and close when the brake pedal is pressed.

Settings allow control over how wide the doors open to ensure they do not hit nearby objects or pedestrians.

In models equipped with the Executive Second Row package, rear passengers can control the doors from a touchscreen.

The 3.0-liter Duramax diesel engine option has been discontinued due to low demand. Cadillac now focuses on giving a choice between gas and electric powertrains.

Trim-Specific Features

Luxury Trim features a pointillized grille texture for a unique aesthetic. Platinum Trim provides a horizontal chrome bars on the grille and illuminated grille surround. Sport Trim includes a black honeycomb grille for a sportier look.

Pricing

While exact pricing for the 2025 Cadillac Escalade has not been announced, the 2025 Escalade IQ starts at $129,990 and the current gasoline model starts at $81,895.

Cadillac will release detailed pricing information closer to the on-sale date. Production of the 2025 Escalade is set to begin late in 2024.
