Metaverse: UK Police Investigating First Case of Virtual Gang Rape
Police officials in the United Kingdom are into the investigation of what is believed to be the first case of an alleged rape in a virtual reality (VR) game. The victim, a 16-year-old girl, reportedly faced a sexual attack in the online metaverse, leaving her distraught after her digital character, or avatar, was gang-raped by strangers online.
