The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is set to launch its female robot astronaut, Vyommitra, ahead of the Gaganyaan mission. This uncrewed mission, scheduled for the third quarter of this year, towards India’s maiden manned space flight, Gaganyaan, for 2025.
On July 30, 2023, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) accomplished one more achievement by effectively sending off its Polar Satellite launch Vehicle (PSLV-C56) from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.
ISRO successfully launched the NVS-01, the first of the second-generation navigation satellites, on May 29, 2023. The satellite was launched aboard a Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV-MkII) from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
