Bharat Mart, inspired by China’s successful Dragon Mart, is set to redefine the market of Indian trade in the UAE.
This warehousing facility, spanning over 100,000 square meters, will be as a versatile multipurpose hub, integrating warehouse, retail, and hospitality services.
Strategically located within the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) and managed by DP World, Mart plans to streamline the trading process for Indian exporters, offering them a platform to exhibit their products.
The facility is equipped with retail showrooms, offices, warehouses, and supporting amenities catering to a wide range of goods, ranging from heavy machinery to perishable items.
Moreover, plans are underway to develop a digital platform that will facilitate transactions, enabling global buyers to source goods from the facility with ease.
The establishment of this Mart holds importance in the context of India-UAE trade relations. With both nations aspiring to double their non-petroleum trade target to $100 billion by 2030 under the Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), Bharat Mart emerges as a catalyst in achieving this goal.
