Among the victims were a 7-year-old girl, who succumbed to her injuries after being shot in the head, and a 29-year-old man who was dead at the scene.
Additionally, a one-year-old boy and a 7-year-old boy were critically injured, along with five adults aged between 19 and 40.
The victims were attending a family gathering when two shooters approached and opened fire, according to witness accounts.
The mass shooting, involving 18 rounds, was not deemed a random act of violence but likely gang-related, as stated by Police Area One Deputy Chief Don Jerome.
