Exterior

The 2025 Toyota Camry exhibits an exterior design, blending elegance with a touch of sportiness. With inspiration drawn from the larger Crown sedan, the Camry boasts a wide front grille by signature LED headlamps.

The XSE model, in particular, stands out with its body-color lower fascia, black trim on the trunk, and 19-inch wheels. New paint options, including Ocean Gem and Heavy Metal, complement the existing palette, adding to the Camry’s visual appeal.

Powertrain Options

One of the most changes for the 2025 Camry is its transition to an all-hybrid powertrain lineup. The hybrid system combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with electric motors, delivering a robust 225 horsepower for front-wheel-drive models and 232 horsepower for all-wheel-drive configurations.

The move to hybrid-only powertrains aligns with Toyota’s commitment to sustainability. Absent is the V-6 engine, replaced by a powerful and retuned hybrid system aimed at enhancing performance.

Performance

The driving experience of the 2025 Camry promises to be both responsive and agile. Toyota has reworked the suspension, introducing new shocks and tuning for enhanced responsiveness and handling.

While the base models aim for a comfortable ride, the sportier trims receive a specific sport-tuned suspension, providing greater stability and confidence on the road.

The introduction of an all-wheel-drive hybrid option further expands the Camry’s versatility, catering to various driving preferences and conditions.

Interior

Inside the Camry’s spacious cabin, a host of comfort and technology features await. The dashboard showcases a large trim piece, reminiscent of the upscale Crown sedan.

Depending on the trim level, buyers can enjoy a range of amenities, from cloth upholstery and dual-zone automatic climate control to premium features like leather upholstery, heated seats, and ambient interior lighting.

The infotainment system receives an upgrade, with the XLE and XSE trims featuring a larger 12.3-inch display, running Toyota’s latest software interface.

The technological prowess extends beyond infotainment, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standard across all trims, working wirelessly for added convenience.

A nine-speaker JBL stereo system is available as an optional upgrade, providing audiophiles with a premium audio experience.

The inclusion of a heads-up display in the higher-level trims adds a futuristic touch, offering essential information right in the driver’s line of sight.

Safety Features

Toyota prioritizes safety in the 2025 Camry, equipping all models with a comprehensive suite of driver-assistance features.

Standard offerings include automated emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and a feature aiding in curve preparation by gently applying the brakes.

The commitment to safety extends to crash-test results, with information available from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) websites.

Warranty

While rivals may boast longer warranty periods, Toyota holds its own with a competitive package. The limited warranty covers three years or 36,000 miles, the powertrain warranty extends to five years or 60,000 miles, and hybrid components enjoy coverage for eight years or 100,000 miles.

Additionally, Toyota provides two years of complimentary scheduled maintenance, adding value to the overall ownership experience.
