Eve Systems has upgraded its popular smart weather station with Matter support by improved connectivity and integration across various smart home platforms. The new Matter-enabled version maintaining the same features and price as the original and it is now available for purchase.

The Matter version of the Eve Smart Weather Station retains all functionalities of the previous model. Priced at €79.95 / $79.95, it is available for purchase on the Eve Systems website and Amazon.

Existing HomeKit model users can upgrade to Matter support via a free firmware update provided their device was purchased post-2021.

The Eve Weather station is designed to monitor local weather conditions including temperature, humidity and 12-hour weather trends.

It features a large display for easy viewing and an IPX4 water resistance rating ensuring durability against splashes but not submersion.

The device dimensions are 2.1 x 2.1 x 0.6 inches (54 x 54 x 16 mm) making it a compact addition to any outdoor setup.

Matter support enables the Eve Weather to connect with a variety of platforms including Android devices and voice assistants like Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant.

This cross-platform compatibility ensures that users can access weather updates and control smart home automations regardless of their device ecosystem.
