OnePlus 13 is scheduled to launch in China on October 31, 2024. The global launch is expected to follow soon after, likely in early 2025. The flagship device will be one of the first powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC.

The phone features a sleek design that closely resembles the OnePlus 12, but with some subtle changes. The micro-quad-curved display on the front enhances the sleek, modern look.

The rear panel showcases a circular camera module that no longer blends into the frame but stands out with a more elegant finish.

The metallic sides add to the premium look and durability of the device. OnePlus has moved the Hasselblad logo from the camera island to a horizontal line extending from the module to the edge of the device.

A minimalist OnePlus logo is featured below the camera module, maintaining the phone’s clean and polished aesthetic.

The OnePlus 13 will be Available in Three New Color Variants:

  • White Dawn: This variant uses the Silk Glass technology.
  • Blue Moment: The first of its kind in the industry, this model features a soft, skin-like texture.
  • Obsidian Black: Incorporating a unique Ebony Wood Grain Glass finish.

The camera system on the OnePlus 13 continues to emphasize OnePlus’ partnership with Hasselblad.

A 50MP primary camera equipped with Sony’s LYT-808 sensor and an f/1.6 aperture for improved low-light performance.

A 50MP ultra-wide lens to capture expansive shots with clarity. A 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom for better detail in distant subjects.

The circular camera island houses three lenses and an LED flash in a symmetrical matrix arrangement.

OnePlus has revealed that the phone will feature the world’s first second-generation BOE X2 2K screen. This display offers DisplayMate A++ certification, ensuring superior image quality, brightness and color accuracy.

The P2 self-developed display chip will provide better power efficiency and optimized screen performance. The screen will also feature a micro-quad-curved design.

The phone will be one of the first devices powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, also known as Snapdragon 8 Elite.

The new chipset features advanced Oryon cores for improved performance, energy efficiency and better handling of multitasking and demanding tasks such as gaming.

The phone could be one of the earliest devices to hit the market with this processor, potentially outpacing competitors like Xiaomi and Oppo.
