The 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit approximately 25 miles south of Bartolomé Masó. This earthquake, recorded at around 11:49 a.m. Cuba time and it was followed by aftershocks with magnitudes of 5.9 and 4.6. Smaller tremors also affected Puerto Rico over the weekend.
