Chadwick Boseman’s untimely death in August this year left the world in shock. The young actor, who was only 43 when he passed away after losing a battle against colon cancer, was one of the most liked actors in Hollywood. His role in ‘Black Panther’ won him accolades from across the globe and tributes had poured in for the star from heartbroken friends, colleagues and fans when his death was announced earlier this year. His co-star Viola Davis recently spoke about her own reaction when she heard the tragic news. In an interview, the actress admitted that she broke down after hearing the news. She referred to Chadwick as someone, who would always live in the moment, no matter what the situation was.
Chadwick had been reportedly battling colon cancer for four long years and never let the news of his ailment come out in public. Viola said that the actor’s death made her realise that it was quality that mattered in life, and not quantity. She also said that she would always remember the way Chadwick lived his life – with a lot of integrity
Recently, it was reported that makers were already planning to make ‘Black Panther 3’ with the actor after the first film, but fate had other plans. The studio is now planning to go ahead with ‘Black Panther 2’, but without Chadwick’s character, T’Challa.
