Tinder is making its ‘Passport’ feature free again for the month of April. Tinder had made Passport free last year in April due to Covid-19 lockdown restrictions. Tinder said it saw more than 25% of its members globally use Passport, and it also witnessed 1.4 billion matches made through it. Tinder recorded the highest matches per day on April 24 with 55 million matches.
Tinder Passport is a paid feature that’s available with Tinder Plus and Gold subscriptions. This feature essentially lets users explore other cities virtually by just choosing the preferred location. Users can either search a city by typing its name or by pinning it on the map. Once the location is changed on Tinder, users can continue using it normally. Since Tinder is location based this feature lets users meet people from different corners of the world.
