Terrorism in Syria increasing due to external actors: India at UN

India on Tuesday told the UN that terrorism in Syria is increasing due to the “involvement of external actors”. The presence of “11,000 ISIL fighters in Northeast Syria” is a matter of serious concern, India’s Deputy Permanent Representative to UN K Nagaraj Naidu said. “All parties must adhere to their international obligations to fight terrorism in Syria,” he added.
