In a shocking incident, a female passenger on a Russian flight was tied to her seat by airline crew after she kept taking off her inner garment.
The 39-year-old passenger was tied to the chair with the help of a rope and tape. It is believed that the woman was under the influence of drugs. According to Daily Mail, the woman started walking around the cabin as soon as the plane took off from Vladivostok.
The woman then started taking off her clothes and wearing them back again. Daily Mail reported that the woman appeared ‘disoriented’ and did not follow the order of the cabin crew. The flight attendants and some passengers then decided to tie the woman to the chair in order to stop her from causing any harm.
The woman was kept tied to her chair until the plane landed at Tolmachevo airport in Novosibirsk. Russian media reported that the woman was arrested after the landing of the plane.
Local authorities said that when the woman was questioned at the police station she confessed having used a synthetic drug before boarding the flight.
Russian Interior Ministry said that the woman later taken to a hospital to find out her level of intoxication. The interior ministry added that woman faces low-level charges of ‘petty hooliganism’. Police has launched a probe in this matter.
