A jewelry store owner named Mr. Shi, who operates his business on the ground floor of the Ludu International Commercial Plaza stated that there was blood everywhere as people frantically ran in panic, not knowing what was happening.
According to Mr. Shi, firefighters and SWAT officers quickly arrived at the scene, evacuating the mall and bringing the situation under control.
Lin was immediately arrested at the scene of the crime. Chinese authorities disclosed that his motivation was linked to personal financial stress, though they have not provided further details.
