Bollywood producer Raj Kaushal died of a heart attack at the age of 49 on Wednesday (June 30) morning. He shared his last social media post on Monday (June 28) that shows him happy and having a great time with his wife Mandira Bedi and friends Zaheer Khan, Sagarika Ghatge, Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi and others.


Raj Kaushal, who died of a heart on June 30, had spent his last weekend with his friends. Taking to his Instagram handle, the producer shared pictures. In the photos, he can be seen smiling while posing for the camera with his friends Ashish Chaudhary, Zaheer Khan, Sagarika Ghatge, Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi and his wife Mandira Bedi. “Super Sunday. Super Friends. Super Fun #oriama (sic),” he had captioned the post

Close friend Neha Dhupia paid tribute to Raj Kaushal by sharing the same photo on her official Instagram handle with an emotional note on Wednesday. “Raj, we took this picture to create more and more memories can’t believe you are nt with us anymore Mandira, my strong strong girl, I am at a loss of words. My heart belongs to Vir and Tara I’m shaken up and in shock and disbelief as I write this, RIP Raj (sic),” she captioned the post.


A slew of fans and followers commented on Raj Kaushal’s last Instagram post to pay their last tribute. While some wrote, “rest in peace (sic),” two other users said, “can’t believe (sic)” and “you’ll be missed (sic).”


On the occasion of Father’s Day, Raj Kaushal posted a happy photo with his children Vir and Tara. Along with that, he wrote a note praising his children for being kind and empathetic.

“Our surroundings have a deep impact on our children and I’m thankful that during this pandemic, I was able to witness the generous and compassionate side of my kids. When I had asked my son, Vir, what he wanted for his birthday, I was expecting him to say toys or may be some gadgets, but what he said touched me deeply. He said that he just wanted a day full of love and blessings. But more than that, he was keen on doing something that would keep people healthy and safe during this pandemic. My ten-year old’s gesture really made me proud and I realized how content and selfless he truly is. So, for his birthday present, as per his wishes, I arranged free vaccination for many underprivileged people (sic),” he had captioned the post.


Raj Kaushal was a Bollywood producer who started his career as an actor. He later went onto become a director and made three films: Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi, Shaadi Ka Laddoo and Anthony Kaun Hai. Kaushal’s last directorial venture was the 2006 thriller, Anthony Kaun Hai?, starring Arshad Warsi and Sanjay Dutt. He worked as a producer for films My Brother Nikhil, Shaadi Ka Laddoo and Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi.

Raj Kaushal is survived by his wife, Mandira Bedi, and kids, Vir and Tara.
