Texas Longhorns forward Jericho Sims on Wednesday signed with the Klutch Sports Group, joining a talented group of prospects this year, the agency announced.
Sims averaged 9.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.1 blocked shots in 26 games last season. He was named to the All-Big 12 Tournament team after helping the Longhorns earn their first postseason championship, producing a career-high 21 points and 14 rebounds.
The 6-foot-10 forward is coming off a stellar performance during the NBA draft combine last week. He produced the third-highest max vertical jump ever recorded at the combine and is said to have helped his draft stock perhaps more than any other prospect.
He will forgo his remaining collegiate eligibility by signing with Klutch.

Sims entered the combine projected by most to go undrafted. However, following his performance in the combine, Sims is rising on some draft boards and could earn second-round consideration.
Sims will join Arkansas guard Moses Moody, Duke forward Jalen Johnson and fellow Longhorn Kai Jones by signing with the Rich Paul-led group. Kentucky forward Brandon Boston Jr. and Florida guard Scottie Lewis also joined the agency from this year’s draft class.
Klutch Sports is a top agency in the NBA. Its All-Star clientele is headlined by LeBron James, Anthony Davis and John Wall. In 2020, the agency signed Anthony Edwards and Tyrese Maxey.
The NBA draft is scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 29.
