This dual-motor setup propels the roadster from 0 to 100 km/h in an exhilarating 3.2 seconds, showcasing the vehicle’s remarkable acceleration capabilities.
These motors draw power from a modern 77 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, providing a substantial driving range of up to 570 km on a single charge, as per the China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle (CLTC).

Design of MG Cyberster
The Cyberster’s design is a consistent mix of cutting edge style and aerodynamic performance. The vehicle boasts dimensions that command attention: measuring 4,533 mm in length, 1,912 mm in width, and standing at a height of 1,328 mm, with a wheelbase spanning 2,689 mm. The open-top design is adorned with distinctive scissor doors, adding a touch of elegance to the overall appearance.
Given its electric powertrain and robust battery, the Cyberster carries a load of 1,984 kg. While this weight aligns with the inherent mass of electric vehicles, it’s worth noting that this factor could impact the car’s handling and agility in comparison to lighter sports cars.

Safety in MG Cyberster
MG’s commitment to safety is clear in the Cyberster’s designing. The vehicle is equipped with Brembo brakes including four-piston fixed calipers, enhancing braking performance. Additionally, a highly rigid rollbar enhances the vehicle’s structural integrity, contributing to passenger safety.

Looking forward, MG has plans to introduce a rear-wheel-drive variant of the Cyberster. This version will house a single electric motor capable of generating over 300 horsepower. Its power source will be a more compact 64 kWh battery pack.
Regardless of the decreased powertrain setup, this variant is expected to deliver a range of 519 km on a single charge, maintaining the Cyberster’s allure for eco-conscious performance enthusiasts.
