The Fitbit Ace LTE features a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Color OLED display with a high pixel density of 333 ppi and DCI-P3 color range.

The smartwatch comes with a protective bumper case. It is compact and lightweight measuring 41.04 x 44.89 x 13.35 mm and weighing 28g without the band. The device is water-resistant up to 50 meters.

The Fitbit Ace LTE is equipped with a 328mAh battery that provides over 16 hours of battery life. Fast charging capabilities allow the battery to charge fully in 70 minutes. With just 30 minutes of charging it can deliver up to 11 hours of use.

The smartwatch includes 3D games tailored for the device with updates promised every few months. It encourages physical activity, tracking various activities in a special Noodle activity ring on the home screen.

It recognizes and rewards a wide range of movements such as playing hide and seek, jumping on the bed or dancing.

The device uses a new movement algorithm developed by Google Research which accurately measures kid’s physical activity while maintaining privacy.

The Fitbit Ace LTE ensures that only parents can view their child’s location or activity data. Location data is deleted after 24 hours and activity data is deleted after a maximum of 35 days.

The device does not support ads or third-party apps and only contacts added by parents can call or message the smartwatch.

Kids can enjoy customizable creatures called “eejies”, which grow with daily activities. The smartwatch includes six collectible bands each unlocking different items, styles, and rewards upon first attachment. New bands will be released regularly.

The Fitbit Ace LTE pairs with the Fitbit Ace app, allowing parents to track their child’s location, communicate, and manage settings like School Time mode.

Future updates will include Tap to Pay functionality, enabling kids to access pocket money securely.

Connectivity options include built-in 4G LTE (with a Fitbit Ace Pass subscription), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS/GNSS support. It is compatible with most phones running Android 11.0 or newer or iOS 15 or newer.

The watch fits wrists measuring 120 mm to 200 mm around. Key sensors include an accelerometer, optical heart rate sensor, altimeter, magnetometer, ambient light sensor, and gyroscope. The device is backed by a 1-year warranty.

The Fitbit Ace LTE is priced at USD 229.95. It will be available for purchase from June 5th through the Google Store and Amazon.

The Fitbit Ace Pass data plan costs USD 9.99 per month or USD 119.99 annually, with a 50% discount available for annual subscriptions purchased before August 31st. The annual subscription also includes a collectible Ace Band valued at USD 34.99 for free.

The Fitbit Ace LTE features 3D games where the more kids move, the more game time they unlock. These games utilize the smartwatch’s haptics, sounds, and accelerometer for a rich, engaging experience.

Examples of games include racing as a chicken in a bathtub through space or fishing for quirky creatures like a Soy Sauce Snapper in “Smokey Lake.”

The device tracks various forms of physical activity from traditional sports to playful activities like hide and seek or dance-offs.

These activities are recorded in Fitbit’s unique ‘Noodle’ activity ring, celebrating daily movement goals right on the homescreen. The Fitbit Arcade updates with new games every few months.

Only parents have access to their child’s location and activity data through the app. Location data is automatically deleted after 24 hours and activity data is erased after 35 days.

The smartwatch supports calling and messaging but only with contacts approved by parents. The device is free from advertisements and external apps.

As children meet their movement goals, their eejie grows healthier and happier. They can earn arcade tickets by completing daily activities, which can be used to customize their eejie’s appearance and its home in Bit Valley.

The Fitbit Ace LTE offers six collectible bands that unlock unique content and styles when attached. Each band is like a mini game cartridge, introducing new items, rooms, and Noodles.

The blue Courtside band introduces a basketball theme. The green band brings Wally, Bit Valley’s resident Spooky Pug who loves to cosplay.

With the Fitbit Ace Pass and the Fitbit Ace app (available on both Android and iOS), parents can see their child’s real-time location, call, and send/receive text and voice messages.

Parents can add and manage trusted contacts for communication and features like School Time can be activated to minimize distractions during class. Coming soon, this feature will allow kids to access pocket money safely and conveniently.

Parents simply download the Fitbit Ace app and follow the setup process. There’s no need to purchase a SIM card, pay activation fees, or visit a carrier.

The necessary data plan, the Fitbit Ace Pass is included. The smartwatch is designed to withstand the rough and tumble of kids’ lives.

It’s water-resistant up to 50 meters, features a scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen and includes a free bumper for extra protection.

The Fitbit Ace LTE is priced at $229.95 and can be pre-ordered exclusively from the Google Store or Amazon starting today. It officially launches on June 5th.

The smartwatch requires the Fitbit Ace Pass for LTE connectivity, game access, and regular updates. This subscription is $9.99 per month or $119.99 annually.

Annual subscribers receive a free collectible Ace Band (valued at $34.99). Additionally, those who purchase the annual plan before August 31st will enjoy a 50% discount on the subscription cost.

The Fitbit Ace LTE shares many hardware similarities with the Pixel Watch 2, such as Gorilla Glass 3 and water resistance. It features a distinct “squircle” OLED display and two large buttons for kid-friendly interaction.

The interchangeable straps called “Cartridges,” add unique content and themes, enhancing the gaming and activity experience. Each strap introduces new backgrounds, items, and activity trackers.

The home screen displays the time, activity rings, and points collected. Games like “Smokey Lake” and “Pollo 13” offer engaging activities that integrate movement into gameplay.

The fishing game requires physical gestures to catch virtual fish, while the racing game uses wrist movements to steer.

To prevent over-exercising and gaming addiction, the Ace LTE prompts kids to move every two to three minutes with interval-based training principles.
