As the spread of corona in Tamil Nadu is increasing day by day, additional corona treatment centers have been set up.
Corona treatment centers have been set up at major government hospitals in Chennai, including Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital, Stanley Government Hospital and Tiruvallikeni Omanthurai Government Multipurpose Hospital.
Apart from this, the Kindi Anna University campus and the Ambattur Government Apartments are also functioning as the largest corona treatment centers.
Thousands of beds have been set up in these specialized centers and corona patients are being treated there. In addition, corona treatment centers have been set up in private hospitals.
A special officer has been appointed to monitor the treatment details and patients carried out in these centers.
For this I.A.S. Officer Therese Ahmed has been hired. The order has been issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu. He will monitor the corona treatment centers operating in government and private hospitals across Tamil Nadu on a daily basis and will immediately inform the Government of Tamil Nadu about the details of the patients and their effects.
Health officials are hopeful that this will pave the way for immediate information on corona patients undergoing treatment. He will oversee corona treatment in Chennai Corporation Hospitals, hospitals operating under the Chief Minister’s Insurance Scheme, Corona Treatment Centers and private hospitals.
