NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Thursday expelled Praful Patel, Sunil Tatkare and S R Kohli from the party. Pawar had called the party’s national executive meeting in Delhi in which 13 NCP leaders — including PC Chacko, Jitendra Awhad, Fauzia Khan and Vandana Chavan — were present. Meanwhile, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde on Thursday said that the opposition was spreading rumours about unrest among Shiv Sena MLAs.
